Statement from Senator Kathy Marchione (R,C,I-Halfmoon) on Governor Cuomo signing statute of limitations legislation into law

“I’m thrilled that Governor Cuomo has signed into state law the bi-partisan statute of limitations legislation that I sponsored with Assemblymember John McDonald. The signing of our bi-partisan bill is a real victory for families in Hoosick Falls, Petersburgh and any other community where a superfund site is declared. This new state law means residents in Hoosick Falls, Petersburgh and elsewhere will now receive more time to have their day in court and fully pursue civil justice. I am thankful for the support our bill has received and that it will become law.”
